Geese sp (Anser sp) ~20 000 including Taiga Bean Goose (Anser fabalis) >1000, Tundra Bean Goose (Anser serrirostris) >16 000 (or at least 80%), rest Greater White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons) at Nica fields, Nica county (K.Millers, I.Grinerte). Present at surroundings at least since 25.02.2020. (K.Millers). European Golden Plover (Pluvialis apricaria) ca 200 (120+50+30) at Nica fields, Nica county (I.Grinerte, K.Millers). Large number of first spring migrants so early.

Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus) 3 at Kalngale fields, Carnikava county (I.Denisovs). Earliest spring migrants record!

Rare during winter months. Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) 250 - 300 counted from single spot in the Baltic sea at Bernati, Nica county (I.Mardega, M.Kilups). Quite large number at one place during winter months. Merlin (Falco columbarius) 1 2cy at Kalngale fields, Carnikava county (I.Denisovs). Rare during winter months. Water Rail (Rallus aquaticus) 1 at Ezerkrasts next to Liepaja lake, 1 at Zirgu islet in Liepaja lake, Liepaja (I.Mardega, M.Kilups). Rare during winter months. Eurasian Coot (Fulica atra) 450 - 480 at Kisezers lake NW part, Riga (I.Denisovs). Prsent since 25.01.2020. when 444 - 456 (I.Denisovs). Large number at one place during winter months. Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus) 17 at Mazirbe, Dundaga county (G.Grandans, R.Rekmanis). Eurasian Skylark (Alauda arvensis) 1 at SKatre, Nica county (I.Mardega, M.Kilups). First spring migrant records for Wood Pigeons and Skylark. Common Reed Bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) 8 foraging then to NE at Kisezers lake next to Snikera islet, Riga (I.Denisovs). Earliest spring migrant record!

Woodcock (Scolopax rusticola) 1 flushed at Dunduri meadows surroundings, Tukums county (E. & V.Smislovs, A.Kurockins). First spring migrant record. Common Linnet (Carduelis cannabina) 470 in one flock at stubble/plowed field between Ciruli and Sauka, Viesīte county (K.Funts). Large number at one place.
