Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata) 2 ad and 3 - 4 juv at Kalngale fields, Carnikava county (I.Denisovs). Present since 16.06.2017. (I.Denisovs). New breeding site.

12.07.2017. Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 1 singing at Meza Ozolini surroundings, Skrunda county (R.Rekmanis).
11.07.2017. Red Knot (Calidris canutus) 1; Little Stint (Calidris minuta) 1; Dunlin (Calidris alpina) >400 at the sea shore of Liepaja harbor S pier surroundings, Liepaja (K.Millers). Red Knot and Little Stint - first autumn migrants, Dunlin - large number at one place in July.

Large number at one place during summer months. Greater Scaup (Aythya marila) 1 F at Zvejsala - Lodani fish ponds, Rezekne county (G.Grandans). Rare inland during summer months. Red Kite (Milvus milvus) 2 at Grobina surroundings, Grobina county (E.Laucis). Short-toed Snake Eagle (Circaetus gallicus) 1 at Pape lake surroundings, Nica county (E.Laucis). New breeding species for Latvia confirmed - Razorbill`s nest found (E.Liepins, K.Millers, O.Jegers).
