30.10.2022. Black scoter (Melanitta americana) 1 between Kolka harbor and Kolka Cape, Talsi county (E.Smislovs). Probably 2^nd record for Latvia. However, it cannot be ruled out that the same bird observed on 14^th of May stayed on the western coast of the Gulf of Riga till October.
